儘管先發大前鋒卓雷蒙格林因為前役撞傷小腿沒打，勇士還有充足火力應戰！柯瑞昨飆進4顆三分球，貢獻34分、8籃板及6助攻，杜蘭特也有28分、10籃板與6火鍋，勇士115比102轟垮灰狼，摘下11連勝。
格林因為前役不小心被隊友克拉克撞到小腿，雖然傷勢並無大礙，勇士總教練科爾為了保險起見，仍讓格林與克拉克休兵1場，改由魯尼先發上陣，幸好柯瑞、湯普生與杜蘭特3人仍然攜手轟進83分，輕鬆延續勇士的連勝戰績。
「看來很明顯少了格林，對我們影響不大，」昨拿23分的克雷湯普生開玩笑表示，「其他人仍有辦法團結在一起，把球賽贏了下來。」反觀杜蘭特老實多了，他說：「尤其在今晚，我們特別想念格林，因為我們開賽打得有點軟。」
灰狼得以緊咬比數到最後一刻的關鍵人物，是連兩屆NBA灌籃王拉文，他投進5顆三分球，攻下全隊最高31分，另有3助攻、3籃板，上季年度新人唐斯18分、9籃板，威金斯16分，葛迪傑15分。
「勇士根本就是一支全明星球隊，但你必須試著努力去挑戰他們，且帶著信心，這就是今晚我們在做的。」拉文說，灰狼是上季唯「2」在勇士主場贏過球的隊伍，昨天也讓剛創隊史新高47助攻紀錄的勇士，全場只有25助攻。
